I am Alex Dimmock, an independent tutor specialising in English and SEND-informed practice.
Hi, I’m Alex.
I specialise in supporting and teaching SEN students. I focus on strong relationships, clear routines and lessons that help students feel safe, understood and able to make progress.
My tutoring is especially suited to learners who need patient, adaptive English support that builds both skills and confidence.
Qualifications and experience
- BA (Hons) Special Educational Needs and Disability Inclusive Practice (SENDIP)
- TEFL
- Enhanced DBS checked
- Commencing Secondary English Teacher Training
- Three years’ experience as a Learning Support Practitioner in a secondary school
